Job Description:ResponsibilitiesReasons Eating Disorder CenterLicensed Vocational NurseLicensed Psychiatric TechnicianAre you caring, compassionate and hardworking?Apply today to join our amazing team!Reasons Eating Disorder Center (Reasons) is seeking candidate professionals, preferably with previous experience working with LGBTQIA+ communities, to provide compassionate care to our diverse patients for our residential treatment facilities located in beautiful, intimate six-bed houses in the Pasadena and the Arcadia neighborhoods of the Los Angeles area.Job Description: The LVN/LPT performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned residents, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.Key Responsibilities include:
  • Accurately collect data needed for the appropriate portion of the integrated assessment.
  • Take and record vital signs properly.
  • Observe for, and document changes in resident’s appearance, behavior and ability to work toward treatment plan goals.
  • Communicate changes in resident’s condition to the Director of Nursing.
  • Report signs and symptoms of infection in resident to the Director of Nursing.
Requirements:Education: Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing or vocational training as a psychiatric technician.Experience: Minimum one (1) year LVN/LPT in psychiatric nursing preferred.Licensure: Licensed to practice vocational nursing from the State Board of Nursing or Psychiatric Technicians.Your passion, inspiration, and talents are invaluable to us and our mission to serve others.
