Job Title: Preconstruction ManagerPosition Overview: As a Preconstruction Manager, you will play a vital role in the success of our projects by overseeing the preconstruction phase from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include sales, planning, leadership, and organization, with the long-term goal of building a dedicated preconstruction team under your guidance. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience, preferably in commercial projects and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preconstruction efforts for healthcare and medical projects, ensuring that all aspects of the preconstruction phase are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the healthcare sector.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for prospective projects.
  • Utilize software such as Prolog, Onscreen Takeoff, and BlueBeam to streamline preconstruction processes and enhance project efficiency.
  • Lead preconstruction meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on project objectives and requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams during the preconstruction phase.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in preconstruction management and implement strategies to stay ahead of the curve.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Over 15 years of experience in preconstruction management, with a focus on healthcare or medical projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, cost estimating, and value engineering.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, including Prolog, Onscreen Takeoff, and BlueBeam.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
