- Reporting directly to the Creative Director, the Senior Retail Environment Designer will lead retail environment design projects from conception to rollout, collaborating closely with clients, project teams, and external consultants.
- Responsible for client engagement and management, including translating client briefs into project requirements and facilitating productive client meetings and workshops.
- Produce all project deliverables to a superior standard, demonstrating expert abilities in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign for presentations and storytelling.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development within the design field.
- Utilize excellent project management skills to effectively manage personal workload, as well as oversee the workload of junior team members and project teams.
- Generate innovative ideas and concepts rooted in retail knowledge and science, ensuring concepts are well-supported by detailed storyboarding and rationale.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, finishes, and manufacturing methods to inform design decisions and maintain relevance.
- Collaborate with 3rd party consultants as part of the client/project build team, ensuring seamless coordination and integration of design elements.
- Conduct site visits, review contractor drawings, and ensure design intent is maintained throughout project execution.

- Outstanding client liaison and management skills
- Expert ability in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign for presentations
- Proficiency in Vectorworks Architect (2021) for technical design
- Strong 3D environment sketching and rendering skills
- Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities
- Advanced project management skills, including time management and production planning
- Deep understanding of retail design principles and experiential design
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and manufacturing methods
- Punctual, personable, and professional demeanor
- Must have a degree in Interior Design or related field
