We can offer you a position in a dynamic, diverse, and global IFF Nourish Process R&D organization that has world-class capabilities and opportunities to grow and develop.Your Main Responsibilities:As a Process Development Engineer your main responsibilities will be:
Planning, executing, managing, and reporting of process development projects.
Participating in technology transfer, start-up, and plant optimization in Finland and abroad.
Acting as a proactive team member in global development projects both in pilot and plant scale.
Scheduling and organizing day-to-day pilot and laboratory work for development projects.
Supervising pilot plant and laboratory personnel in project setting.
Continuous improvement in safety culture and day-to-day operations.
Job RequirementsYou are qualified for the position if you have:
M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent.
Excellent attitude towards Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS).
Team player mentality and high respect for people.
Problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and continuous learning attitude.
Ability and willingness to work hands-on in pilot plant and plant environment.
Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills both in Finnish and in English.
Good IT skills (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, SAP).
Willingness to travel to some extent.
Desirable skills and background:
A few years of relevant work experience in bioprocess, chemical and/or pulp & paper industry is an asset.
Industrial experience in various separation technologies (chromatography, ion exchange, membrane separations, crystallization) is an asset.
Practical experience in crystallization technologies is an asset.
Practical experience in capital engineering projects is an asset.
Practical experience in process automation projects is an asset.
