You will work collaboratively with our experienced SEN team to deliver high-quality education and support, with the potential for a permanent position starting in September.Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs and abilities of SEN students.
  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities, and communication needs.
  • Collaborate with SEN colleagues, parents, and external agencies to develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Use ongoing assessment to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with students with SEN in a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • Flexibility, patience, and resilience in adapting to the changing needs of SEN students.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to participate in relevant training opportunities.
