And we've got the determination to unlock and deliver value where others cannot see it.What is the overall job?The Fit Out Package Manager is responsible for the management of Fit out from appointment through to delivery and sign-off. The Package Manager will be directly responsible for the performance of Fit Out and will be the key driver for ensuring that this element of the project is delivered on time, to the required quality and in accordance with all appropriate safety controls.The role will include assisting with the tendering/procurement stage, leading the design development and trade to trade co-ordination stage, overseeing the trades' mobilization / fabrication and ultimately the on-site delivery and sign-off. This will require close co-ordination with the design team, the trades designers and the MPX Commercial and Construction teams. Other Key responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and maintain good professional working relationships with the Client, Design team and sub-contractor representatives.
  • Assist the commercial team with the development of the tender scope and the preparation of the CR1 and CR2 documentation.
  • Attend and assist with the pre tender / mid-tender and post tender meetings and bid evaluation.
  • Ensure accurate information is stored on Aconex and all relevant updates are timely and communicated to relevant parties;
  • Oversee the development of the shop drawings, samples and fabrication/manufacturing programmes;
What do I need to be successful in this role?
  • Experience in helping to deliver successful, large scale and complex construction projects.
  • Sound technical knowledge of construction methodology, process and sequences.
  • Good financial understanding of construction costs – experience in financial management of construction projects
  • Experience of delivering within logistically challenging (ie: city) environments.
  • Proven / ability to create string relationships within the industry incl. clients, sub-contractors, designers and third parties.
