Our first product was our energy balls, which are now in around 6,000 stores across the UK, from Waitrose to Starbucks, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Holland and Barrett, Whole Foods and lots more. We have since launched a line of breakfast cereals, oat bars, nut butter bites, caramel cups, chocolate bars, baked veggie chips, dipped almonds and a range of frozen desserts, as well as our Plants range in Waitrose.
Plants restaurant is where we showcase the very best of plant-based eating. From culturing our own butter, to baking our own sourdough and serving up the creamiest mushroom truffle risotto, our food celebrates the delicious diversity and abundance of plants.

We have around 75 team members across three sites. Our Head Office is based in the heart of central London, on Tottenham Court Road, and this is where our Leadership Team work, alongside our Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing and People teams. Our restaurant, Plants, is just down the road near Bond Street, and is a celebration of plant-based eating. Our factory site near Milton Keynes produces some of our best-loved products like our energy balls, caramel cups, nut butter bites and dipped nuts.

What are we looking for?We’re looking for a Restaurant Manager to join our Front of House team. This role will be part of the leadership team at Plants and play an important role in ensuring the team provides outstanding customer service and that the restaurant operates efficiently.Purpose of the role
  • You will support the GM and Assistant GM in managing the Front of House team, including training, coaching and supervising staff, and creating rotas.
  • You will be a true representative of the Deliciously Ella brand, delivering outstanding service to guests in line with our values.
  • You will be adept at running the daily tasks of a restaurant e.g. taking reservations, greeting and assisting customers, handling customer queries and complaints, and solving problems as and when they arise.
  • You will support the efficiency of the restaurant by preparing and presenting staffing & sales reports, assessing and identifying ways to improve profitability, overseeing stock levels and ordering supplies.
  • You will be well versed in hygiene, licensing and health and safety requirements, ensuring these are met at all times.
Your teamYou’ll report to our General Manager, Bled Matranxhi, and be working closely with our Assistant General Manager, Head Chef Franco Casolin, and our Front of House & Kitchen teams.What you will bring (skills and experience)
  • You have 3-5 years working in a managerial role in a hospitality environment
  • You are an excellent communicator and are able to build rapport quickly with customers and team members.
  • You are interested and enthusiastic about plant-based food and lifestyle.
  • You take pride in providing the best possible service to guests and will go the extra mile to make their visit memorable.
  • You are proficient in excel and comfortable using software to manage staff rotas and report numerical data.
