Our client is a Japanese based manufacturing company located in Bangi. They dedicate themselves to creating valued products that will contribute to a brighter future for the society. They support the four focus markets, which are diversifying and rapidly changing and accelerating through new key technologies. They manufacture high quality capacitors to meet their customer's needs. Due to expansion, they are looking for a Process Improvement (Robotic) Engineer.Job Responsibilities
Support New Product Introductions projects by leading Process Development work package.
Deliver assigned Process and Equipment solutions meeting or exceeding Quality and timeline targets.
To support process and equipment roadmap activities be met through qualification of new suppliers/models or new process.
Identify new possibilities and evaluate process technologies to improve yield and quality.
To contribute to effective resolution of chronic issues through innovative and out-of-box solutions.
To provide active support and technical input in Team based problem solving efforts (e.g., Focus Team).
To ensure self-development to continually upgrading overall performance by maintaining organizational knowledge through design guideline, design rules, supplier capability, knowledge management system & actively participating in internal and external knowledge sharing (Technical symposium, trade shows, etc).Job Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Mechatronic/ Electromechanical), Engineering (Metallurgy/ Material Science), Physics or equivalent.
At least 2 years of related working experience in the manufacturing environment specifically in dispensing (Underfill) process, hardware design for dispensing.
Experience in Automation or Robotic Process development or New Product Introduction would be an advantage.
Hands-on and process development experience with 6-axis Robot and AMR is preferred.
Strong analytical skill, systematic problem-solving approach skill, statistical knowledge with knowledge of Six Sigma is preferred.
An in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word is required.
