Our 24/7 operations demand excellence, and we're seeking a talented Multi Skilled Shift Engineer to ensure our assets operate efficiently, reliably, and safely.Responsibilities:As a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our plant operations and driving continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing technical support to Fulfilment/Manufacturing operations to optimise asset reliability and performance.
  • Implementing modern maintenance techniques to ensure business continuity and enhance equipment availability.
  • Proactively preventing faults and leading continuous improvement initiatives to achieve maintenance KPIs.
  • Conducting root cause analysis on engineering stoppages and implementing corrective actions.
  • Supporting health and safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coaching and developing operators to enhance their skills.
  • Collaborating on project activities and change initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with design specifications and contractual arrangements.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance tasks using our CMMS system.
  • Upholding food safety standards and traceability of engineering activities.
  • Identifying and driving continuous improvement opportunities across departments.
Role Requirements:To excel in this role, you'll need:
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience in an FMCG process environment.
  • ONC or equivalent qualifications, with an electrically biased focus and mechanical skills.
  • Desirable experience with 17th/18th edition regulations.
  • Proficiency in PLC servo drive diagnostic techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic controls.
  • A positive approach to plant reliability and continuous improvement activities.
  • High levels of health and safety awareness.
  • A results-focused mindset, continually striving for personal and process improvements.
