- Developing and maintaining an understanding of their segment's wider market issues including external technology landscape generally and specifically the trends in your segment. This may include attendance at industry events, including presenting at them.
- Proactively speaking to clients in order to understand their pain points and ways of making the delivery of legal services more useful to them, with the ability to articulate this back to the business.
- Using their expertise, knowledge and hands on experience to both raise and support awareness of, as well as ensuring the adoption of, relevant solutions for clients, whilst focussing on delivering an excellent client service.
- Accountable for Product/Innovation revenue in their segment.
- On a day-to-day basis, help drive the adoption and embed new products including technology solutions and products across the segment and segment clients.
- Takes a proactive role in upskilling stakeholders in tech solutions and products across the segment.
- To work collaboratively with subject matter experts and technical leads across the practice to ensure that Product/ Innovation is well positioned for “Client” via Insights and enhanced customer satisfaction levels and “Operationally” through delivering greater process excellence and quality.
- Willingness to learn and apply relevant project management, product management and innovation techniques and methods.
- Stakeholder management, at all levels of seniority and externally, and communication will be integral in helping to succeed in this role.
- Works with other Product and Innovation Partners in different segments to ensure knowledge sharing and collaboration on solutions that suit multiple segments.
- Working closely with the Product Manager, marketing and finance teams to create business cases, roadmaps and financial projections.
- Own the go to market and sales strategy for each product, working closely with the marketing team to develop and implement sales plans/target lists and marketing campaigns.
- Assist with tender preparation, drafting and pitching.
- Engaging with internal stakeholders in order to understand and develop product and innovation initiatives and develop a culture of innovation.
- Running workshops/innovation and product sessions internally and with clients.
