Senior Engineer - AVP Position Overview Job Title: Senior Engineer - AVP Location: Pune Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Tableau Function Analyst to join the global corporate banking analytics team and work on our next generation cash management product analytics platform (Beacon) to provision complex use cases that will enable better client, product, and revenue management. The ideal candidate will have a strong expertise in data engineering skillsets and tools and have experience leading data science project from ideation to production. The candidate should also possess domain knowledge of finance payment data sets for corporate banking and can effectively communicate technical solutions to a wide range of audiences. Create functional solution designs, conceptual and logical data models. Support the technical team in translating the conceptual / logical data models into physical models. Work with various data storage and processing technologies such as Hadoop, SQL, Hive, Impala, Google Cloud, and Cloudera Data Science Workbench Develop and maintain data pipelines for real-time and batch data processing. Identify and resolve data quality issues and ensure data accuracy and consistency. Perform data analysis using Tableau or similar tools to visualize and present insights to stakeholders. Optimize and tune data processing and ETL workflows to ensure high performance and reliability. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data engineering and data science. Your skills and experience 5-7 years' experience developing on large scale IT projects from inception to delivery. Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field Strong experience in Tableau, with expertise in Hadoop, SQL, Hive, Impala, Google Cloud, and Cloudera Data Science Workbench will be an advantage. Proficient in Python programming language Solid understanding of data science principles, machine learning algorithms, and NLP techniques Experience working with finance payment data sets in a corporate banking environment is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
