Senior Engineer Position Overview Job Title: SAP BW Lead Engineer Location: Pune, India Role Description Engineer is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration. It may also involve taking functional oversight of engineering delivery for specific departments. Work includes: Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals. Building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle. Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions. Ensuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow. Reviewing engineering plans and quality to drive re-use and improve engineering capability. Participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools and solutions in the Bank. Rigorous, resourceful, adaptable with good attention to detail and strong project ownership Solution designing and delivery accountability. Providing Leadership and people management as necessary Hands-on working within projects and essential maintenance activities Own technical delivery of individual components, working with Architects, Business Analysts etc. Driving continuous improvement and a high-performance agile culture Ensure high quality standards by getting it ' the time' Lead Innovation efforts Your skills and experience As a SAP BW SME your skills will include 15+ years of development across SAP BW, SAP ABAP, SAP BO & SAP BW on HANA Strong knowledge on SAP BW & ABAP Good communication and team player Working experience on SAP Finance related BW is preferred Previous experience working with data transformation and data warehouse projects Strong configuration management skills Experience of SAP BW on HANA SAP BW / SAP HANA certifications preferred Experience working with SAP BW and ABAP for BW. BW on HANA experience is a big plus Thorough understanding on SAP BW architecture Experience working with SAP BW ABAP on Routines, Transformations, DTP, OOPS ABAP, Dynamic coding techniques Experience on CDS views and AMDP is an added advantage Exposure to data load, extraction, queries, performance optimization techniques Understand business requirement and perform high level and low level estimation with technical solution approach How we'll support you Training and development to help you excel in your career.
