Learn more atAbout role :As a Technical Business Development Manager at Ingram Micro NZ for NetApp, you'll play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our NetApp business by identifying, developing, and executing strategic partnerships and opportunities.You will leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to foster relationships with key partners, understand market trends, and drive innovative solutions that align with the Ingram Micro NZ and NetApp's objectives.Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key reseller partners and vendor to drive business growth and market expansion.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of NetApp's products, solutions, and technology ecosystem, and effectively communicate their value proposition to partners and customers.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive insights, and translate findings into actionable strategies.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the vendor to develop innovative solutions that address customer pain points and drive revenue growth.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor, customers, and internal stakeholders to drive alignment, collaboration, and successful outcomes.
  • Sales Enablement: Provide technical expertise and support to customer sales teams, including product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions to drive sales effectiveness.
  • Thought Leadership: Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the industry by contributing insights, best practices, and thought leadership content through various channels.
Role requirements
  • 5 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or related roles in the technology industry.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of storage, cloud computing, data management, and related technologies.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing strategic partnerships and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
