Accounts Receivable Controller

• Manage your allocated list of customers, overseeing invoicing, credit notes, receipting, collections, statements, and queries.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and statement issuance to customers.
• Drive cash collections for your designated customers, optimizing cash flow.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for AR-related inquiries from internal stakeholders and other departments.
• Facilitate effective internal and external communication regarding AR matters.
• Assist in month-end preparations and collaborate with the Accounting Team.
• Act as the main contact for auditors regarding AR matters for your assigned customers.
• Review documentation for new customers and liaise with the Accounts Receivable Team Lead and Finance Manager for approval.
• Regularly review AR master data, addressing any discrepancies with the master data team.
• Provide accurate input for cash flow forecasting to the AR Team Lead.
• Maintain organized working files for allocated customers in shared drives.
• Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support the AR Team Lead with ad hoc requests and initiatives.

• Bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent.
• 5 years or more of proven work experience in an Accounts Receivable Controller role.
• Worked with a book value of R 200 million or more is essential.
• Previous experience in Accounts Receivables within a manufacturing industry is advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in ERPs such as SAP, Microsoft Navision, or Microsoft D365.
