Control & Instrumentation Engineer

• Developing software and systems from concept through to finished product in line with design request and equipment technical specification.
• Design activities to support projects and technology development.
• Performing Engineering verification analysis to assess suitability of design.
• Test activities to validate equipment designs against performance criteria in accordance with procedures.
• Supporting the Product Development department in meeting the ongoing requirements of the business.
• Liaising with other departments in the business to support the development of design solutions through review of new and existing technology.
• Development of software programs for electronic products, data analysis and test equipment.
• Management of software development program from concept to delivery.
• Create software definition, flow diagrams and interface requirements.
• Support, coordinate and communicate with staff and external parties on the application of software.
• Develop simulation models of electrical/electronic products and systems
• Troubleshooting of Programme Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI) / dashboards, network connectivity, and software
• Identifying and providing solutions for control system technical issues
• Support, coordinate and communicate group activities on the: specification, adherence, supply, control, and consumption of electrical energy.
• Implementing, verifying, and documenting design changes to software and PLC
• Developing and upgrading HMI / dashboards
