- Understanding of the UK public health context
- Evidence of independent research, using quantitative or qualitative methods, in public health or mental health
- Knowledge / experience of mental health research
- Experience in managing, delivering or developing educational programmes
- Experience of effective engagement with a diverse range of students / stakeholders
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience of working in a public health related field
- Knowledge / experience of advanced quantitative analytic methods including use of large-scale datasets for research, or in qualitative / mixed methods approaches, and / or patient and public involvement in research
- Evidence of publication of research in peer-reviewed journals
- Relevant qualification in education / Fellowship of the HEA (or equivalent)
