Extrusion experienceA DAY IN THE LIFE…
- Industrialize products / processes in factories / markets in close cooperation with project managers / engineers, and follow up on possible issues.
- Supports development of processes and equipment concepts for the product lines and works independently under limited supervision. May be responsible for entire projects or processes within job area.
- Lead industrial trials at factory, present results in written and oral form to factory and regional operations.
- Work closely with R&D / PTC product and process team, as well as Technical team from other region to integrate basic product / processing knowledge.
- Contribute and propose ideas/activities/methods to Marketing and operations.
- Deploys standards under limited supervision within Zone AOA.
- Lead die design work in the region, for any I&R projects or support factory processing improvement.
- Organize training / courses for new factory technicians and manufacturing operators.
- Ensure compliance with the technical assistance process & manage projects following I2L / NMS including appropriate documentation.
- Ensure strict compliance with R&D, NPTC and corporate SHE & food safety policies as well as legal SHE & food safety codes. Drives for safety by design of the process.
- Responsible for making improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance within job area.
- Lead processing improvement, i.e. on extrusion speed optimization, dryer profile optimization, improvement on yielf factor, and support factories in the region on continuously meeting product standards etc.
- Preferably MSc / BSc in food science / chemical engineering or equivalent experience
- Operational experience in a factory
- Operational experience in product development
