- Possess the ability to assess and interpret customer needs and requirements and works to identify solutions to both typical and atypical requests and problems
- Creating specifications to bring data into a common structure, creating product specifications and models, developing data solutions to support analyses, performing analysis, interpreting results, developing actionable insights and presenting recommendations for use across the company
- Queries various data streams to generate routine and ad hoc productivity, capacity, utilization and quality reports and profiles, as well as analyses to support evaluation of business opportunities and issues
- Prepares and distributes accurate high-quality service line and provider specific profiles to track performance against Triple Aim and other corporate goals In conjunction with the department leaders, provides feedback to providers or others regarding performance and data trends
- Creates and uses business intelligence, data visualization, query, analytic and statistical software to build solutions, perform analysis and interpret data
- Responsible for the management and manipulation of mostly structured data, with a focus on building business intelligence tools, conducting analysis, performing normalization operations and assuring data quality
- Partners with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop tools and models such as segmentation, dashboards, data visualizations, decision aids and business case analysis to support the organization
- Produces and manages the delivery of activity and value analytics to key stakeholders
- Leverages subject matter expert views in the design of their analytics and algorithms
- Provides models and reports risk-predictive tools to support risk stratification
- Ensures accuracy and integrity of all information included in reports and analyses
- Consistently audits and quality checks data and reports to ensure consistency and quality
- Helps analyze, investigate, explain, and interpret, within all domains of population health and provider analytics. Also works to identify, research, and validate significant data ‘outliers’. Follows up to resolve issues where necessary
- Uses pertinent data and operation information to identify and solve a range of issues related to population health and provider analytics
- Provides data to department leaders to support their work with academic institutions and other experts in research and development of Population Health programs and is a resource for providing explanation and information on the topics of productivity, capacity, utilization, quality and other population health topics
- Maintain current documentation of all routine processes in central location
- Prioritizes and organizes to meets deadlines for routine and project related work
- Adheres to all established policies regarding confidentiality of patient information
- Complies with health and safety requirements and with regulatory agencies such as DPH, etc.
- Complies with established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives
- Enhances professional growth and development through educational programs, seminars, etc.
- Attends a variety of meetings, conferences, and seminars as required or directed
- Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed
- 3+ years of relevant experience in data reporting/analytics
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience with SQL, Access and BI tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, etc.
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present creative approaches and solutions to business issues
- Proven excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
