Our daily work is our daily passion.Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our dedicated team. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans and procedures to validate the performance, reliability and compliance of safety and protection devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, develop test strategies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures to verify the functional, performance, and safety requirements.
  • Design and implement automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies to streamline testing processes and improve test coverage.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of software and system-level features, including functional testing, regression testing, stress testing, and performance testing.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of test failures and work collaboratively with development teams to investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain test environments, test fixtures, and test equipment to support testing activities, including setup, calibration, and maintenance.
  • Document test results, defects, and test procedures in a clear and organized manner, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on test progress and status.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test processes, methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Location: TriesteQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in software and functional testing
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, including manual testing and automated testing.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks and proficiency in scripting languages.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • ISTQB or similar software testing certification is a plus.
