  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and execute engaging lessons tailored to meet students' diverse needs.
  • Provide personalized support to students, either one-on-one or in small groups, who require additional assistance.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters active learning.
  • Assist students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in accessing the curriculum and participating in school activities.
  • Aid in the preparation and organization of learning materials and resources.
  • Supervise students during lessons, breaks, and other school activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and stakeholders to facilitate student progress and development.
  • Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the school leadership team.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Prior experience working with children and young people in an educational setting is essential.
  • Demonstrated passion for education and a sincere desire to support student learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess patience, empathy, and the ability to cultivate positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of students and the school environment.
  • Dedication to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in education.
  • A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
