Architectural Director Job in Winchester, HampshireWe are currently working with a multidisciplinary consultancy who have an Architectural Director job available. The role would see you taking a lead role in the running of projects and working on business development. The role offer a salary of £60,000 to £70,000 and includes additional benefits such as hybrid works generous holiday allowance and bonuses.This employee-owned consultancy offers a range of services including Planning, Urban design Ecology, and Architecture.The practice has 2 offices and is made up of 16 people working across varies disciplines. Offering a single or integrated package of service the team have developed a number of key relationship and clients in the local market.The business is seeking experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Director of Architecture and Business Development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in architecture and business development, with a strong existing client network.Role & Responsibilities
  • Develop long-term plans for firm growth and success
  • Set clear goals and targets for business development efforts
  • Generate new business opportunities through networking and client outreach
  • Lead proposal and pitch efforts to win new projects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Provide direction and support to architectural staff
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Work on live projects, overseeing their progress and success
  • Collaborate closely with the board to align strategies and initiatives
  • Monitor and manage the firm's finances effectively
  • Uphold high standards of design excellence and technical proficiency
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure project consistency and accuracy
  • Engage with professional networks to enhance the firm's reputation
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and liabilities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
Required Skills & Experience
  • ARB registered Architect
  • Minimum of five years of senior experience in architecture and business development
  • Strong existing client network and proven ability to generate new business opportunities
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and design tools
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
