Experience using SAGEPurpose of Role·To contribute to the attainment of the company's business objectives by· Ensuring day to day operations and transactional entry run smoothly for Construction company· Ensure cashflow is understood, monitored and forecast· Ensuring accounts produced comply with IFRS standards· Business partnering with commercial and operational teams to report performance and assist with driving performance Primary responsibilities, tasks and duties (this list is not exhaustive)1. To manage day to day financial operations of the construction company2. To assist with development and roll out of processes and best practice across finance department3. Maintain accurate weekly cashflow forecasting working closely with Commercial Director regarding supply chain payments4. Production of monthly cost reports, working with commercial department to ensure all costs are captured and allocated correctly5. Line management for Finance Manager, Management Accountant and Accounts Assistant6. Maintain knowledge of CIS and VAT rules affecting the construction industry and apply to day-to-day processing7. Review of monthly payroll as produced by group accounts function8. To assist with monthly VAT, CIS returns and payroll returns9. Production of monthly management accounts in line with commercial team project appraisals, budgets and forecasts10. Management of revenue recognition process11. Lead contact for Statutory audit12.
