- Lead and manage a team of design engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Develop and implement design standards, guidelines, and best practices for data centre infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including construction, operations, and project management to ensure design intent is met
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design intent is met and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans
- Communicate with stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve design engineering processes and solutionsKey Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in design engineering, with a focus on data centre infrastructure projects
- Proven experience in leading and managing design engineering teams
- Strong knowledge of data centre design standards, guidelines, and best practices
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
