RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our client's team. As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of our facilities and equipment. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of our organization.Responsibilities

Responsible for all mechanical and electrical maintenance in a busy plastics extrusion plant
Machinery includes high speed mixers, extruders, pelletizers, vibrating sieves, blenders, driers, triple roll mills, injection moulders etc.
Will report to the General Manager
Create and maintain a scheduled maintenance system for our ISO 9000 system
There will be a maintenance assistant to help you, but it is expected that you will perform the majority of the physical work yourself, therefore an energetic and youthful disposition is important
The candidate will need to have proficient mechanical engineering skills
Must be able to work as a team with the machine operators, to trouble shoot and quickly resolve any breakdowns
Must be able to carry out work instructions from the Production and General Manager
Work method must be orderly, logging each job card completed with neatness and attention to detail
Maintain a neat & tidy workshop, with spares lists, minimum spares levels and inventory management

Requirements

Fully qualified electrician with a Red-Seal certification or a qualified millwright: A Red-Seal electrical qualification and fitter experience is a non-negotiable
Minimum 5 years experience as a Millwright in a production/industrial environment
Must have good welding skills
Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and reliability-centered maintenance principles
Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing maintenance teams
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
