With a focus on nurturing every child's potential, the school provides comprehensive support to both students and staff.As a Year 6 ECT, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in preparing students for the transition to secondary school. Working closely with experienced teachers, the Year 6 ECT will share the timetable and collaborate to deliver engaging and enriching lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for Year 6.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering lessons tailored to the needs of Year 6 students, with a focus on core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and Foundation subjects.
- Provide targeted support to students, including one-on-one assistance and small group interventions, to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to assess student progress, track attainment, and implement strategies to address areas for improvement.
- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities as part of the ECT induction process, supported by experienced educators within the school.

- Dedicated mentorship and guidance from experienced teachers to support the ECT induction and facilitate professional growth.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently undergoing Initial Teacher Training (ITT) with an expected completion date by September 2024.

- A solid understanding of the National Curriculum for Year 6 and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
