Key duties
To identify market opportunities and changing customer needs with the development of national compliant procurement frameworks to support annual sales growth through their use by Public Sector organisations.
Support in the development and implementation of the Procurement Services growth strategy that will enable Procurement Services to become the framework provider of choice across public sector organisations.
Promote and grow the use of our frameworks through proactive engagement with customers and suppliers.
Maintain strong procurement compliance, contract management and auditability throughout the life of all individual frameworks.
In this role you will work closely with our awarded framework suppliers to ensure compliance to framework SLAs, KPIs and reporting processes to maintain compliance throughout the life of each framework and individual contract.
Maintain and deliver the procurement plan in line with agreed timelines.
Provide leadership, development, training and performance monitoring to your team to support business activities.
Such other duties, commensurate with the grading of the post that may be assigned.
What we need from you –
CIPS Level 4 Membership is desirable
Experience of managing procurement processes successfully
Experience of Public Sector procurement
Extensive knowledge of Public Sector Regulations
Leadership skills
