Start Date (Subject to pre employment checks): 1st September 24Salary: Grade 3 £23,114 to £23,893 per annum pro rataWe are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant (TA2) to join our KS1 or KS2 team, to work term time plus one week.We are looking for candidates with strength in communication and language development, excellent behaviour management skills and high expectations for children’s achievement.It is crucial that the candidate can assist in teaching and learning across all areas of the curriculum, including interventions. Knowledge of teaching phonics is desirable.The Successful Candidate will:
  • Have recent experience of working with either KS1, KS2 in a mainstream UK Primary School
  • A passion for working with children and young people and removing any barriers they may have towards learning
  • Have a passion for promoting and supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
  • Be able to relate well to both children and adults and be able to work well in a team
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and aiding the teacher in managing behaviour
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to establish a positive and inclusive learning environment
