Atlas Therapy is seeking a part-time and PRN Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team at our State College office and help support satellite offices when necessary. Our ideal candidate has a background in healthcare and/or administration, strong attention to detail with the ability to stay well-organized, excellent customer service skills, is extremely friendly and welcoming, and has excellent time management skills.RequirementsExperience:
- Previous Healthcare Administration experience (2-year minimum)
- Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
- Understanding and ability to utilize electronic scheduling system
- Protecting patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Welcoming and attending to patients in the clinic and on the phone.
- Scheduling, collecting payments, keeping accurate records, checking patients in/out, and helping to maintain the reception area
- Maintaining effective communication with the team and ability to work in a shared space
- Following physical therapy guidelines and insurance regulations rigorously
- Must be a highly motivated individual, multi-tasker, excel in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Must be willing to work as a team, keeping patient care on the forefront.
- Maintain a willingness to become an integral part of Atlas Therapy and serve our surrounding communities.
