- Manage and monitor data risks through working closely with first, second lines of defense and risk owners, control office to ensure risk level is managed within data risk appetite.
- Responsible for driving and leading the data risk management meeting as part of data governance.
- Work closely with control owners to ensure proper, realistic, achievable control remediation plan is in place, properly recorded on Helios and with stakeholders’ agreement.
- Monitor, track and report control effectiveness, issues and actions status through Helios and Group KCI dashboard. Any exceptions to be flagged timely through established governance forums.
- Align with Group and Regional DAO data governance team to ensure well understanding in data risk landscape and governance approach.
- Provide advice and consultation to control owners on control implementation, execution, monitoring and reporting.
- Assist and support HASE Head of Data Governance on all data strategy initiatives within the bank.
- Partner closely with IT / DAO data management, data partnership and data science team to facilitate and enable data analytics and partnership activities as part of key data initiatives.
- University degree in related disciplines, including Information Systems Management, Data / Computer Engineering, Business Administration.
- 3-5 years’ experience in data or project management / business analysis / change management.
- Good understanding on data management principles, data risk and control framework, visualization, data technology.
- Awareness on data management or visualization trends within the banking and IT industry
- Attention to detail combined with a strong delivery focus and ability to meet aggressive timeframes with quality results
- Good stakeholders’ management and with ability to interact and build relationship with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers, thru data
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
