We do this by turning scientific discoveries into peer reviewed knowledge, hosting the world’s richest corpus of knowledge, allowing users to unlock insights from content and by measuring the quality and impact of research - turning insights into outcomes.About the RoleWe aim to make the process of publishing academic research in journals easier for authors, reviewers, and editors. Our UX research helps us to better understand the needs of our users, how we can improve our current services and how we can create new services. You will support our growing demand for UX research, with an initial focus on Submission Systems. Our agile squads research, design and build features for use by research institutions worldwide.ResponsibilitiesPlanning and conducting research projects to include contextual user interviews, concept value testing, usability testing of prototypes and early designsPresenting research in an engaging way to different audiencesBeing a thought partner for the product manager to progress ideationManaging research participant recruitment to ensure feedback can be collected quickly and efficientlySupporting Research Operations work, including maintaining our research repositoryRequirementsDemonstrate a range of qualitative and quantitative research techniques and advanced analysis, planning and execution skillsHave worked with senior stakeholders to decide and plan user research roadmaps, communicated findings and made recommendationsHave experience applying research methods such as contextual interviews and usability testing to suit the research question, project stage and timescalesBe collaborative with colleagues cross-functionally, involving product teams and other stakeholders in the research processUse analytics data to triangulate research findings.
