Establish design goals and project deadlines.
Design and develop embedded software code based on specified requirements.
Install, configure, and maintain the embedded software development environment.
Conduct scalability and structural testing of the software.
Implement the embedded system and analyze error reports.
Debug issues and optimize system performance.
Maintain and update the software program as needed.
Document software application values and processes.Requirements:
10+ years of experience in a Embedded Software Developer role, with a minimum of 3 being at a Senior level.
10+ years of experience working in C and C++ (C# experience is preferable but not required)
Troubleshooting and testing expertise
Familiarity with GPS, sensors (e.g., temp sticks), modem, RF, and antennas
Ownership across the full product development lifecycle: Requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, debugging/optimization, deployment, maintence and support.
Experience with switch and router implementations in firmware
Prior management experience supervising a small team.
Professional experience with Linux OS
Preferred: Experience in cybersecurity considerations for design integrity and client base needs
Strong written and verbal softskills
Enjoys collaborating and working cross functionally to achieve goals.Location:
