- Drive material development initiatives assembling coin and pouch cells
- Scout for new materials and suppliers
- Technically review materials and their suppliers
- Support in quality method development and risk assessments
- File and review patent applications

- A technical BSc/MSc/PhD degree in Chemistry, or similar
- At least 3 years experience working on a material category for Li-ion or Na-ion, K-ion technology
- Experience in analyzing materials
- Excellent English written and oral skills
- At least 2 years industrial experience from the development and testing of secondary batteries
- Highly organized and result-driven
- People-person and ability to build strong relationships
- Ability to drive work independently and in a team environment to deliver results
- Can-do attitude and “not afraid to get hands dirty”
- Experience in chemical material synthesis, processing and testing
- Experience in patent reviews and applications
- Experience with new battery chemistries and designs
- Experience from a multi-cultural environment
