- The GUL Business Specialist – Non IT will perform the professional duties in line with a Professional Business Analyst (SFIA definition)

- Construct documentation of the current state, requirements definition, business and compliance gap analysis, business process remediation and improvement, and contribution to implementation efforts including testing, training and rollout
- Translate business strategies and objectives into business requirements.
- Develop inventories of the policies, processes, templates, tools and data repositories to support in-scope business solutions and services
- Drive requirements elicitation process via review of legal and compliance guidance and input from business and technology stakeholders
- Take a holistic approach of considering people, process and organizational structure when evaluating requirements
- Perform strategic gap analysis on current eco systems against the needs of the business lead analysis & documentation of new or remediated policies and processes for a designated business line or solution area
- Assist with the development of testing approaches, use case development and business process testing
- Undertake comprehensive cost/benefit analyses to determine clearly whether an idea or opportunity is worth investing in
- Minimum of 3 years of industry related experience
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated strong business analysis and process design skills
- Proven ability to document current state environments and design/remediate to a future state environment
- Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office products (including Visio and Excel) and work management applications (Azure, JIRA, etc.)
- Strong communication, planning and organizational skills, especially to manage and influence multiple stakeholders and contributors to work as a team to deliver to the common objective
- Demonstrated problem solving, conflict management and decision making skills at the level to advise stakeholders of alternatives and recommendations
- Experience working with global teams along with the schedule flexibility to accommodate meetings during non-standard work hours as required
