- Provide leadership and supervision to direct reports (Sales Planners). Selects and manages the performance of direct reports.
- Provide day-to-day operational support to Sales Planners while monitoring/balancing their workloads.
- Train and educate staff in compliance with company policies, procedures, and ISO compliance.
- Develop internal processes with a focus on improving customer satisfaction, process improvements, and improvement in accuracy.
- Provide input on tools needed to assist in servicing accounts.
- Provide input on metrics measurements for service.
- Create and distribute reports, as required.
- Perform other job-related responsibilities and duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Three+ years of experience in service or materials management.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as well as typing skills for accurate data entry.
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and organization. Effective collaboration and communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Dependable with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment while effectively prioritizing workloads.
- Ability to understand customer forecasts, the impact it has on a factory, and how to use the demand information to meet customer requirements.
- Ability to effectively analyze a situation and communicate the resolution to others. Adaptable with the ability to consistently deal with ever-changing conditions.
- Proven success in interfacing with customers in global locations.
- Previous supervisory experience in service or operations.
- Knowledge of Murata's industry, basic business principles, cultural diversities, organization, and products.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Infrequent domestic travel, approximately once per quarter.
