- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to students, faculty, and staff in school clinics, addressing a wide range of medical concerns and conditions.
- Conduct medical assessments, including physical examinations, health screenings, and diagnostic tests, to evaluate patient health status and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and infections, and manage chronic health conditions, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to evidence-based medical guidelines.
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and preventive treatments as recommended by public health authorities and school health policies.
- Educate students, parents, and school staff about health promotion, disease prevention, nutrition, and hygiene practices, fostering a culture of wellness and safety.
- Collaborate with school administrators, nurses, counselors, and external healthcare providers to coordinate healthcare services, referrals, and emergency response protocols.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, documentation, and reports, in compliance with regulatory requirements and privacy standards.
- Participate in school health initiatives, wellness programs, and community outreach activities to promote health awareness and support student well-being.
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized medical school.
- Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license as a General Practitioner.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical/pediatric experience in general practice or primary care settings.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills across a broad spectrum of medical conditions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills both in English as well as Arabic, with the ability to engage with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and families.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, health promotion, and preventive medicine principles.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, with flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of school-based healthcare delivery.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is advantageous.
