- Builds a Production team that includes runners, cargo van drivers, production assistants, set-up crews, and inventory coordinator.
- Creates a system and workflow for other departments to make delivery set-up requests and maintain established procedures throughout the event.
- Plans and executes setups and breakdowns for all Festival events: film screenings, parties, and Filmmaker Conference.
- Asses AV, lighting, power, and gobo needs for the Festival and coordinates orders.
- Manages cargo fleet of 1-3 rented vehicles.
- Creates and executes production schedule for the Festival.
- Manages all Festival supplies and inventory and ensures all items are organized, inventoried, and dispatched.
- Creates tracking system for NOFS assets, donated and rented items flowing between venues.
- Manages all deliveries from vendors and sponsors to Festival storage and venues and ensures smooth pick-ups and returns of all items.
- Oversees Festival storage and ensures all inventory is organized at all times.
- Manages loss prevention and creates a system to avoid damages, thefts, and losses.
- Alignment to the organization’s stated mission and values.
- Minimum 3 years of in-person live events or film production experience
- Excellent organization, planning, and productivity skills.
- High level of comfort handling pressure and understanding deadline-driven environments.
- Ability to work nights and weekends during scheduled festivals and events.
- Ability to stand and move for prolonged hours during events and lift, carry, and load items of up to 40 lbs.
- Posses a form of transportation to move easily and quickly between venues across New Orleans.
- Self-starter with strong initiative, drive, sense of urgency & ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
- Have some technical knowledge of AV, sound, lighting, etc.
