About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Securities Operations Representative... In this role, you will: Is responsible for performing a variety of operational tasks for highly complex securities or cash related transactions or processes that require basic knowledge of unit functions and systems. Duties may include: To be able to process all type of transactions independently. Handle the queries form the onshore teams/clients/customers. Performs a variety of operational tasks in back-office area which are moderate to high complex in nature. To be able to escalate any discrepancies/issues to the supervisors in a timely fashion. To be able to follow-up assertively with various external parties. Interaction with market participants like custodian, clearing house, brokers, Investment Managers to gather process/product related information. Should be flexible to move into projects at short notice. Domain Knowledge: Knowledge on US Securities, Capital Markets, US taxation, Individual Retirement Account (IRA), W8 Forms, Tax Withholding, Investment Banking. Knowledge on SR handling, Escalation handling, Knowledge on Account opening and maintenance, CDD (Customer due diligence), Shell accounts. Required Qualifications: 4+ years of securities/wealth and investment management, Basic understanding of US Securities market Understanding of Trade life cycle Understands the basics of capital markets and various products like what a mutual fund is, bonds, what is a stock/equity, etc. Attention to detail and comprehension skills. Commerce Graduate with B.Com/M.com /MBA preferably in Finance vertical. Desired Qualifications: Candidate should have basic accounting Knowledge. Good problem solving and analytical skills and numerical skills. Typing Skills / Good Communication (Read / Write / Speak). Desirable to have experience of interacting with US customers.
