- Completed doctorate/PhD in the field of Digital Humanities (or similar qualification)
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
- Experience with Handwritten Text Recognition, network analysis, and the creation of digital editions and philological projects
- Required IT-knowledge: XML/TEI, Python, HTR, network analysis and Natural Language Processing tools)
- High level of commitment and motivation for scientific work
- Independent working style and high level of initiative
- Ability to conduct independent research work
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills
- Participation in the European Research Council-Consolidator Grant project "Celtic and Latin glossing traditions: uncovering early medieval language contact and knowledge transfer (GlossIT)" (
- Creation of digital editions of the glossed Beda and Priscian manuscripts
- Analysing and synthesising the corpus of glosses (network analysis, Natural Language Processing)
- Publication activities and conference/workshop presentations in the specialised context of GlossIT
