  • Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of high-quality products consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying and addressing root causes of quality issues through rigorous analysis and the application of engineering, manufacturing, and quality principles.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to integrate quality control tools and methodologies at all stages of product development and manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of all purchased parts, materials, and services meet required specifications. Conduct supplier audits and assessments, and lead supplier development initiatives as necessary.
  • Utilize statistical process control, lean manufacturing methods, and Six Sigma tools to analyze data, identify trends, and report on key quality metrics to senior management.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customer quality issues, including complaint resolution, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation, maintaining necessary certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949) and conducting internal and external audits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a Manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Black Belt, or similar is preferred.
