- Contribute to business planning and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements:
- Execute regulatory strategy, including product claims, from product inception to product launch;
- Develop strategies to ensure regulatory compliance in local, export and import products and oversees the regulation process for products requiring local governmental approval;
- Review company practices, provide advice and determine what changes are required to comply with existing and new regulatory requirements.
- Regulation Settings:
- Intelligence -– understanding all food regulations and potential changes
- License & Permit Management:
- product certification and registration (BPOM, Halal, SNI)
- Label & Artwork :
- review Ingredients list compliant;
- Claims substantiation review
- Internal Engagement:
- Keeping update on new regulation & information to the business and other key internal stakeholders;
- Maintain awareness of evolving regulatory requirements, trends and developments that relate to post-approval and inform project teams and senior management of changes;
- Anticipating potential regulatory issues that may impact product categories or company policies and develop viable solutions to overcome the impacts;
- Work with cross country teams to ensure regulatory compliance of export and import products including filling necessary applications.
- External Engagement:
- Engage influential third parties such as Regulatory Bodies, Experts, Academia
- Represent the Company in Association/ Committee
- Advocacy - articulating the interest of KHC and influencing the rule setting reflecting the interests of KHC (particularly on “hot topics”)
- Point person for product related audits, inspections, and other challenges.
