Cover teacher primary

• Delivering engaging and interactive lessons across various subjects and key stages, following provided lesson plans.
• Providing continuity of learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers, ensuring students stay on track with their education.
• Managing classroom behavior and promoting a positive learning environment conducive to student success.
• Supporting individual students or small groups who may require additional assistance with their learning.
• Collaborating with school staff to maintain continuity of curriculum and ensure smooth transitions between lessons.
• Adapting teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of students and facilitate active learning experiences.
• Supervising students during class activities, breaks, and lunchtime to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Communicating effectively with school leaders, teachers, and support staff to provide feedback and updates on classroom activities.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting, with experience covering lessons preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups and subjects as needed.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with a commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments.
• Resilience and the ability to remain calm and focused in fast-paced situations.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
