This role is crucial for ensuring software quality and reliability. The Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, perform manual and automated testing, and work closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects. Mainly, the work is related to each Patch Set release and/ or Hot Fix release.Responsibilities

Design and implement test strategies for both manual and automated testing.

Execute test cases and analyze results.

Report bugs and errors to development teams.

Help troubleshoot issues.

Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Develop and implement test strategies for both manual and automated testing, ensuring thorough coverage and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Execute test cases, analyze results, report bugs to development teams, and assist in troubleshooting issues.

Conduct testing for post-release and post-implementation phases, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Deep understanding of web application requirements to define test plans and scenarios, emphasizing experience in manual and web application testing.

Analyze client requirements, derive test scenarios, and report and track defects, with a preference for candidates with security, database, and performance testing experience.\

Knowledge and experience with QTP, VSTS, and Selenium for automation testing, and ability to develop, review, and conduct peer reviews for automation scripts.

Develop Manual, and automated tests, security tests, database testing and performance testing, QTP, and VSTS

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.

Experience in software development and software quality assurance.

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.

Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.

Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.

Security testing experience is preferred

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Strong communication skill in English is a must
