- Develop and maintain an extensive working knowledge of Genetec's software solutions, including ability to create small- to medium-sized system designs with their associated BOMs
- Define product and functional requirements based on customer requirements
- Assist in the development of tailored sales tools and related presentations as needed that helps account sales teams successfully position, sell, deploy and use Genetec solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations
- Ability to cold call identified clients – either within the account or mutual end-user customers
- Support account in responding to RFx
- Provide ad hoc consulting on Genetec’s products for cross and upsell opportunities
- Forecast, manage and report on ongoing sales and pipeline activity
- Issue quotes to assigned territory in North America
- Monitor trends and then apply those learnings to improve future programs
- Work closely with suppliers and various departments for special pricing opportunities
- Communicate regularly with field reps
- Research technical information on product requests
- Update customer records and forecasting in the CRM for tracking
- 2-3 years’ experience in B2B sales preferably from a technology company
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- Able to articulate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone and in writing
- Possesses strong troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with a minimum of direction and supervision to be able to translate broad directives into useful tactics and meaningful activities
- Ability to work cross functionally and build relationships with core stakeholders
- Organized, detailed and process oriented
