- Understand client event requirements
- Work with the sales team to develop detailed event plans, including timelines, layouts and vendor contracts
- Co-ordinate the event from set up, breakdown, ensuring everything runs smoothly
- Provide a friendly, courteous and discreet service
- Supervision of the events, providing direction to the team
- Ensure staffing levels to accommodate requirements
- Deal with any issues and complaints which may arise
- Carry out post event debriefings with clients
- Ensure hygiene & cleanliness standards are maintained at all times
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure menus meet quality and company presentation standards
- Support other F&B areas as and when required, including Restaurant & Bar
- Previous experience in an F&B management role
- Have experience managing busy conference & events, banqueting and weddings
- You'll be an operational, hands on manager and lead by example
- Relevant qualifications in either food service management, hospitality management
- Up to date knowledge of F&B trends and best practice
- Standards driven and know what 'good looks like'
