Job Description:HSE EngineerAbu DhabiParsons is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to supervise related to marine construction project.What You'll Be Doing:Prepare technical studies, reports, plans, narratives and supporting documentationAnalyze and evaluate primary and secondary environmental information.Provide technical guidance to Project teams during planning, design development, construction supervision to enable achievement of Project sustainability and environmental goals and targets and Project permits.Assist with all aspects of registration to enable projects to obtain required licenses / permits/ approvals from clients, authorities or certifying bodies.Prepare scopes of work, task orders and evaluations for procurement of consultants.Manage the performance of contractor.Review deliverables prepared by contractors for accuracy and quality.Conduct construction audits and site inspections and monitor Project compliance against requirements, and to monitor implementation of corrective actions.Coordinate and participate in meetings with Client, environmental agencies, consultants and contractors.Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports and presentations; deliver presentations.Prepare and deliver training to Project teams.What Required Skills You'll Bring:B.Sc. or equivalent Degree in Safety, Health and Environmental / loss prevention or any relevant Engineering disciplines from an accredited university.Minimum 10 years of construction supervision experience with Infrastructure projects, tunnels, interchanges and bridges. Must have at least 5+ years in a Supervisory role.With recognized Health and Safety education, certifications (ADVETI), ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, license or training in UAE (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma, OSHAD-OSHMS Practitioner A or B, Audit ISO Qualifications, First Aid, Fire Safety, etc.).Training or work experience in the fields of HSE engineering or science.Capable of producing high quality documents in terms of grammar, composition, formatting, layout, spelling and organization.Detail-oriented and thorough, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Capable of working independently to research, analyze and accurately solve technical problems.Experience working with Project teams to provide technical input.Safety management experienceExperience as a consultant for construction supervisionExcellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Masters degree preferred.Project management and client interface experience a plus.Respond to RFIs and other technical queries and coordinate with stakeholders to obtain information as required.Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
