Mine operator specializing in sand and gravel operations looking for Heavy Equipment Operators (Loader, Excavator, Haul truck, Dozer, skid steer, water truck, etc.).Job Summary
Under the direction of the Site supervisor a Heavy Equipment Operator will carry out assignments related to operation of heavy equipment in relation to the following areas:
Responsibilities and Duties
- Load trucks with processed material for weighing.
- Load haul trucks with feed material, dirt, sludge ponds via excavator.
- clean spoils around plant with skid steer
- excavate material and load haul trucks via excavator.
- feed material to a feed hopper for crushing plant.
- ability to operate small equipment like generators, light towers, water pumps.
- during out of service ability to operate sky track for various tasks, lie overhaul of cone crusher.
- maintain sloping of walls via MSHA mining standard.
- Must understand backfilling and lifts.
- Must be willing to work in all kinds of weather and working conditions. Must be willing to assume the physical risks of working in an outdoor environment which includes but is not limited to dust, construction equipment, extreme heat and/or cold and wildlife.
- Must have ability to exert physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 50 pounds.
