The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing new and exciting flavors, enhancing existing formulations, and driving the innovation agenda within the organization.Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

Lead and manage the R&D team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, encouraging professional growth.
Product Development:

Oversee the development of new flavors and enhancements to existing products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Production, to bring new products to market.
Research and Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive products.
Stay abreast of industry advancements and technological innovations in flavor science.
Formulation and Testing:

Formulate and optimize flavor profiles, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Coordinate sensory evaluations and consumer testing to gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance:

Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to establish and maintain quality control measures.
Ensure products meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Project Management:

Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of R&D initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align R&D efforts with overall business objectives.
Budget Management:

Manage the R&D budget, allocating resources efficiently to achieve project goals.
Identify cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of formulations, processes, and project outcomes.
Prepare regular reports for senior management, summarizing R&D activities, achievements, and future.

Skills & Experience Required:

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
Proven experience in flavour development, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
In-depth knowledge of food chemistry, sensory science, and flavour creation.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements for the food industry.
Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
