SummaryWe're looking for a high-performing and self-motivated SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI developer with strong Healthcare software solution expertise to join our DDI implementation team and drive critical initiatives at Gainwell technologies. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams, and involves ongoing interaction with a variety of end-users and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have an acute knowledge of SSRS, SSIS, Power BI along with exceptional SQL skills and possess 8-15 years of hands-on Report development experience along with various types of data repositories (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes, data marts), metadata management, dimensional modeling, and ETL / integration.Your role in our missionEssential Job Functions

• Design, develop, conducts unit testing, and maintains complex SSRS and Power BI reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use.

Provide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation.
Determine the best implementation method that will meet the design of the architect.
Work with team members to create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight, improve/automate processes, or otherwise add value to the team.
Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations.
Ensure consistency by adhering to a set of software coding and style guides.
Proven experience in developing and working with SSRS and Power BI Reports
Resolve support tickets related to SSRS and Power BI reports.
Uses existing experience in healthcare or Medicaid to drive processes and improvements.
Responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
Report Development Certification is a plus.

What we're looking for

Looking for 5 - 12 years experience Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications.
Advanced knowledge of SSRS and Power BI with strong knowledge of other reporting tools such as Business Objects, Business Intelligence or Tableau for best practices in scalability, performance, content management and governance.
Advanced understanding of SQL, relational database management system, data modeling, and normalization with an advanced knowledge understanding of data extraction mechanisms and data warehousing concepts
Strong development skills in SSRS, Power BI, data analytics and visualizations.
