Here at Long-term teachers we are seeking to appoint a hard-working, motivated and dedicated Special Educational Needs teacher to work at one of our fantastic schools in Exmouth.Our school provides an inclusive environment and you will be responsible for guiding students through their choice of academic pathway. Alongside this, you will play a vital part in developing the students’ lifestyle choices and social and emotional wellbeing, facilitating growth into well-rounded individuals who are equipped for life.You will be part of a small school with a dedicated team that supports children with a variety of complex needs and abilities, ranging from speech and language difficulties to sensory impairments or physical disabilities.What our client is looking for:
  • Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching experience
  • Understanding of children’s developmental needs as well as academic
  • Patient, empathetic and approachable
  • Ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
  • Ability to adapt and respond to the needs of young people
