Main Duties:
  • Diabetes management- insulin injection and blood sugar monitoring
  • Medication administration- including IV antibiotics
  • Injections- intramuscular, subcutaneous Male, female and supra-pubic catheterisation and catheter care
  • Palliative care- syringe driver
  • Leg ulcer- compression bandage
  • Pressure ulcer care- including pressure equipment assessment
  • Wound management- including removal of stitches and clips
Requirements of the Community Nurse:
  • RGN qualified/NMC registered with valid live pin
  • Recent UK nursing experience
  • Must have Community/District nursing experience
